I have over 10 years of experience as an accomplished CGI artist working across different enterprises. I am a multifaceted individual interested in all areas of visual digital mediums. From small details to massive landscapes, I enjoy all the processes involved, and I don't back down from a challenge. I also work well in a team of various sizes and specialities.

INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

Senior CGI Artist | Beech Holdings Investment Ltd. | Manchester | Feb 2017 - Ongoing

  • Produced over 17 fullscale buildings of interior/exterior and amenity rendering packages featured in many media news publications (Insider Media Limited, Placenorthwest, Business Live) development for third parties and investors.

  • Experienced and responsible for using DJI Mini 2 drone with Operator ID. Taking close-ups, 360 aerial, panning shots and other manoeuvres for all builds produced.

  • Interpret AutoCAD 2D drawings to a high level and translate these into elaborate lived-in 3D scenes on 3ds Max by modelling, shader creating, texturing, lighting and rendering using Corona renderer and V-ray.

  • Developed all 3D virtual tours for Beech’s projects as displayed on their website, constructed all interactive UI / UX designs on 3DVista with repeated revisions over the years, edited all panoramic images using Photoshop and packaged them to be viewed on HTML and its executable for offline and online use. 

  • Built custom models and archive them in a library as part of asset management using Project Manager on 3ds Max, allocating textures, categorising and rectifying low-quality meshes.

  • Experience using Sony Alpha A7 III & Nikon D5600 camera for taking interior and exterior photos and walkthrough videos using a gimbal and tripod.

  • Knowledgeable in masking, camera tracking, compositing, time stretching, colour correcting, trimming, transitioning and animating on After Effects for showcasing current work in progress plus future builds on social media channels, website and company presentations to investors.

  • Conduct sprint planning meetings with the head of CGI and weekly marketing team reports for that month's accomplishments, challenges, and upcoming priorities.

  • Do Ad-hoc briefs from illustration, motion and documentation editing on undisclosed assignments in-house.

  • Communicate and find solutions to external clients’ visions (Leach Rhodes Walker Architects, Beech Design & Build, Oak Construction) and adjust based on online (Teams, Zoom, Loom) or face-to-face feedback.

  • Helping procure Newcastle build under a sub-brand (City Co-Living) in 2021 for £20m which is now occupied and Sheffield for £55m in 2023 with the potential of obtaining Glasgow (Yorkhill Quay scheme) Q3 2024, expanding the company portfolio.

  • Produced 3D assets for British Airways (Aerospace) and Babcock (Defence) for Virtual Reality and educational packages.

  • Liaised in a multidisciplinary team of programmers, graphic designers and senior management which allowed me to develop my skills in a professional environment.

  • Optimizing 3D models and textures using 3Ds Max and Adobe Suite which later transitioned to Substance Suite.

  • Rigging and animating inanimate objects.

  • Produce CGI still re-enactments for Graphic designers to use on Articulate Studio.

3D Artist | EON Reality | Manchester | September 2014 - May 2015

  • Consolidate with a team of programmers and 3D modellers for multiple education packages using their in-house 3d engine.

  • Create organic and non-organic models using 3Ds Max ranging from low to high meshes, Zbrush for sculpting and baking, Photoshop / 3DCoat for textures.

  • Rigging using a combination of custom bones and CAT setups.

  • Skinning, animating and keyframing meshes for programmers to initiate events.
